#BATTLE REALMS LAIR OF THE LOTUS CODE#
Googling around I found a scant number of articles about this "upcoming sequel" but none of it sounded like a line of code has been written yet. I searched Kickstarter and all I could find was "Battle Realms Legends", a card based RPG game that had a failed kickstarter a while back. So my buddy tells me that they're working on a new sequel for the game finally - "Battle Realms 2: Lair of the Lotus" and funding it on Kickstarter. It sat there for a year or more before I even installed Battle Realms to try it out, but when I did I was pleasantly surprised to find a quite fun RTS game that had a fun multi-player mode and for a while we all ended up playing it and enjoying it, then it just kind of vanished from our list. One of the games I suggested was "Battle Realms", because I stumbled upon that game by accident years ago having it bundled along with a different game that I actually was buying (Planet of the Apes). So, I went through my game lists mentioning various old and new games that I think would be fun to incorporate into our occasional multi-player sessions either one-on-one, one-with-one, or group play. I myself like playing some good ole standbys too, but over time playing the same games with the same people endlessly can start to get less exciting and sometimes down right boring. I was discussing with a friend last night a number of games to "spice up" our multi-player shenanigans, as our loose-knit long time gaming circle seemed to gravitate toward a number of specific game titles over the years and in most cases latch on to a single game or two and never let go.
